After this period of story collection, our community will come together and take the compiled information and design a story-based, media campaign that reflects us and what it means to us to be a Black Newarker in a marketing development workshop.
This is a free workshop that you and your members are invited to join to strengthen your current marketing capacity, as well as contribute to our vision for Newark’s next chapter. The date for the workshop is Saturday, January 9th, 2021.
Individual stories will live on and be showcased in the Own Your Story Newark Audio Visual Story Archive. And all the data we collect through this process will be housed here in Newark with The Chad School Foundation, and can be used by people, and organizations such as yourself, to give insight into the community and to help shape policies.
